Vicopisano
An old medieval town located to the south of Buti, which stands out in the countryside for its medieval castle that overlooks and dominates the town and dating back to 1330.
In 1434 the new fortress was built by Brunelleschi, “the Brunelleschi tower “, from which tourists can now begin their visit in the thirteenth century village, full of narrow streets and steps that lead in a charming atmosphere to the many towers of the ancient intact medieval Domus (clock tower, Tower Malanima, Tower of four doors).
