San Giuliano Terme

San Giuliano Terme is located in the lowland between the Arno and the Serchio rivers near the Monte Pisano: a territory of 93 Kmq with circa 30.000 citizens, which extends from the mountains to the sea, in a framework rich of natural historical and artistic beauty.

The area of San Giuliano Terme is situated in corner of Tuscany with a mild climate both in summer and winter, thanks to the sea winds coming from the Tirreno sea. In this territory there are important spas and a wide collection of historical and natural itineraries, such as historical villas, a well preserved aqueduct of the Medici Family, the beautiful San Rossore-Massaciuccoli Natural Park (24000 hectares), several romanic and medieval churches, hermitages and monasteries, particular avenues surrounded by trees and the famous tuscan cuisine with its typical receipes and wines.
San Giuliano Terme is situated between the cities of Pisa (6 Km) and Lucca (8 Km). From San Giuliano Terme you can also easily reach Viareggio and the Pisan coast

With its 3.000 citizens, San Giuliano Terme represents a spa tranquil town, where you can organize relaxing holidays thinking about your “wellness”.

Boboli Street
Besides the Spa centre we advise you to visit the amphitheatre “Cava Nord Est”; this place which looks like an old amphitheatre was once a quarry; today it is one of the jewels of San Giuliano Terme.

The green nature of San Giuliano
The square, from where the ramp which brings you to the amphitheatre begins, is also the starting point for the excursions on the Pisa mountains.
